Things About Me...
I'm happy you've
come to visit me. I think you can learn alot about me by
browsing through these pages that I have made. My love of
family, friends, angels, etc. can be seen as you tour my home
here on the web. But, in case you would like to know a little
bit more.....
My
name is Christi and I live in SD. I have been happily married
for 20 years and we have two beautiful children. Our son Jason
is 16 and our daughter Katy is 13.
My
family is the most important part of my life. They are my
foundation and my strength. They love unconditionally and the
feeling is reciprocated on my part. I am lucky to be part of a
very close family and I hope I am passing that on to my
children.
  
My
parents live on the other side of the state, so we only see
one another occasionally, but these visits are treasured. My
mom is my best friend and my dad is one of my heros. The year
of 1998 was full of turmoil, emotional upheaval and life
altering change for my entire family, but I believe we are
stronger because of this.
I have
two younger sisters that I am very close to as well. My sister
Shari lives in ND with her two young children. My sister Shelly
lives in the same town as my parents. Although she is
physically many miles away, we are able to visit often with the aide of our computers.
Spring
of 1998 found my family facing some very severe medical
emergencies for both our son and my
father. My husband Glen helped me survive those dark days with
his quiet strength and loving support. Without his shoulders
to lean on, I'm not sure I would be where I am today. He has
always given me the space I need to follow my heart. He
supported my decision when I chose to quit a full-time job in
January of 1991. I felt the need to be a full-time mother and
he backed me 100%.
Now
that our children are older and occupied in school during the
day, I have returned to work. I work as an office manager at
non-profit organization that
is dedicated to putting an end to domestic violence and abuse.
